Tangerine Tank Dress

So, here is my first attempt at self-timed photos with a tripod. Let's just say I did a lot of running back and forth. Little Luke was so patient too, sitting on a blanket in the grass. My self-timer skills are definitely a work in progress, but all in all, these turned out better than I expected.

This tank dress is so comfortable, and so easy to wear. I went grocery shopping and took a nap in it. I actually wore the shoes all day too (minus the nap). The 3" wedge heel is not bad at all.

The pockets are my favorite detail. I like the slouchy-ness of them. It seems as though they were made to actually hold something. Like a pacifier. Or a teething toy.

A funny story about the earrings: I first bought them for Katie for her birthday, since they were so bright and colorful, just like her personality. Then, after seeing her wear them, I liked them so much that I went back and bought the same ones for myself. She also wore them this week. (See Triangles post) I guess she likes them too.

Fabulous pleats. I even washed this once and then didn't have to iron it!

Earrings: Francesca's
Dress: Calvin Klein via TJMaxx
Shoes: Target (old)

Thanks for reading!

  1. I love the slouchy pockets. The last two pictures are awesome too! It might look cute with a belt added, just a thought.

Those earrings are my favorites :). I like the self timer shots, I'll have to give it a try one of these days.
